Drive Thru Safari . . .

Today my BFF invited me to tag along with her and my godson to Lion Country Safari. It is literally a drive thru zoo. I love how the animals are able to roam freely instead of being confined to being stared at in their cages. The animals are literally a couple feet from your car, except for the monkeys (who are surrounded by a mote) and the lions (who are fenced in).

I wore a print banded top dress and off-white racerback vest from DOTs with my Lane Bryant sandals and Nicole Miller shades (prescription because I'm damn near blind).

Tweet'n & Greet'n . . .

This evening I had the pleasure of attending a Tweet n' Greet with renowned comedian Ricky Smiley. He is so freakin funny and I was absolutely elated when I found out I had the chance to meet him. He was so warm and welcoming and I had the best time ever. The food was great and the people there were so nice. I made some great connections and hopefully some new friends. If you've been living under a rock then you have a little information below on Ricky Smiley. He has a hilarious morning show that is spreading across the nation like wildfire so I highly encourage you to tune in!
